Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:

Automotive Mechanic - Springs Automotive Group

Responsibilities

· Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

· Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade

· Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)

· Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use

· Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

· Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job

· Keep logs on work and issues

· Maintain equipment and tools

Requirements

· Experience as an auto mechanic

· Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

· Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

· Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment

· Observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

· Excellent physical condition

· High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred

· Valid certification is a definite plus

Lot Attendant - Springs Automotive Group in Englewood

Primary Responsibilities:

The Lot Attendant is expected to:

• Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Springs Automotive Group dealerships;

• Ensure vehicles are clean, secured and organized (including parts) in working environment;

• Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.

• Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Primary Duties:

Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control

• Wash, clean, and dry all cars as required and ready for delivery.

• Effectively communicate with technicians and management to ensure the operation is appropriately cleaned, organized and safe.

• Advise service manager of needed repairs and/or maintenance.

• Ensure all vehicles are secured and locked prior to the close of business.

• Perform all job duties requested by management.

Operate with integrity:

• Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.

• Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment.

• Communicate and resolve customer complaints to appropriate management.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred.

• Maintain valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements.

• Minimum of 18 years old.

• Basic communication skills -- the ability to read and write.

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.

• One year experience as a detailer preferred.

• Ability to use hand and power tools as well as other machinery safely.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions precedent at that time.

• Work performed in a shop setting, as well as exposure to shop environments such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives.

• Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls.

• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.

• Required vision includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
